Ah, how time flies so fast! I got to do these little guys' itty bitty pictures, and now they're a whole year old!  I was so happy that we made it a family session this time, too.  Thank you for choosing me again and allowing me to get creative with some stuff.  I had so much fun! :-)

Well this was just the most wonderful day of the year so far, was it not?  I was so excited to finally be able to have such perfect, spring-like weather for this session, a family that is very dear to us.

{Something old...} Castle Rock Wa Family Lifestyle Photography

I have had lots of ideas floating around in my head for awhile now, and I was so thrilled that in one session with a family I know and love, I was able to achieve some very cool stuff with some very vintage things and some fresh editing techniques I've been playing with!  So prepare for some massive image overload. :-)

First, though, I want to give a huge thanks to Jason Jellum for letting me borrow his sweet ride for the morning, and to Keith Forsyth at To Every Season Antiques and Fine Art for letting me use his shoppe to finish off the session.  He is located in the heart of old downtown Castle Rock, so check it out!

What a day on Saturday! I'm finally getting a few previews up. It was a marvelous day, and it stopped raining just long enough for the outdoor stuff! A big thank-you to the families.  Enjoy the highlights.

This was one of those sessions that just left me smiling for days.  I captured what is most likely one of my favorite images ever...these photos literally brought tears to my eyes.  This family is so sweet, and the mother-daughter moments were just beautiful. They are very close and have such a sweet relationship, as you can see from the photos.

{Family} Longview Washington Family Portraiture

What a wonderful surprise it was to be able to do family photos for a friend from high school whom I haven't seen in about ten years!  I was honored when she asked me to do this as a gift for her parents.  It was stormy most of the day, but the weather gave us a little break and we had a great time.
